Why some synths will not work:
The World Music Menu works by changing the internal tuning table of your synthesizer. Not all synths have the ability to do this, and a few synths which do have variable tuning tables (for example, Korg) were not designed with sufficient resolution and range to handle world scales. We are actively encouraging all synth manufacturers to build this capacity into future machines. The more you as synth users and buyers can do to encourage them in this the better for all of us and for the future of music!
